A new day had arrived and it was already starting to become time for the seventh year ravenclaw’s duties as prefect to walk around the school and make sure students were actually either in their commons room. Though, Chi on the other hand had a different idea of prefect duties that was trying to spend time outside and enjoying a cigarette or two before he actually caught students out. It was a horrible muggle habit he had picked up on during the summer time. He was at least trying to make an effort to stop smoking. The black haired boy roamed the halls wearing his uniform shirt but not wearing his actual uniform. Skinny jeans clung to his body as he walked outside grabbing the pack of cigarettes out of his back pocket with this bright green lighter. Night time was glorious for the boy because of his vampire side. The side he didn’t really show that side too often. The fact he didn’t want to get into trouble for munchin’ on another student here. At the same time Malachi didn’t really drink blood when he was at school. If he did he would use small animals to get by with, or steal some from the hospital wing when thirst became horrible.
Chi lite up the cigarette inhaling the toxic smoke that was now becoming his life line of addictions. He had a ton of addictions that he was fighting to get rid of. Though of course addictions were something to keep Malachi’s mind occupied from dark things, or any vampire instincts that could come about. He sat down on a bench awaiting to see what will happen when the curfew came about and students would start to go inside or if they had detention they would be outside or going to astronomy class. He side a little lying to where his body was the full length of the bench he laid on. He took a long drag from the cigarette and exhaled smoke to the clear night sky. Though, it had only been 8 at night so what the time was it felt later for some reasons.

Nights in Hogwarts were relatively uneventful. Despite what people may think, there are not near death experiences every night. It's actually pretty dull. Well, it's dull when you end up alone in your common room. It was about eight o'clock and people would be returning soon, but Victoire just needed to get away. She felt suffocated. There was a book she had been avoiding reading on her lap as she drummed her fingers against the table beside her. Merlin, it was dull. At first she had attempted reading the book bit by bit, but slowly she became more and more tempted to throw it in the fire place. Reading wasn't something that Victoire enjoyed, but reading school books was akin to torture.
With that thought in mind, she left the common room. The fat lady spoke , as usual, utter nonsense as Victoire smiled politely. Descending the staircases, the girl groaned when the ground beneath her started to shift. The girl had become accustomed to it happening every once in a while, but it was bothersome. It meant that she either had to wait for it to move back, or find another way to get away. Being the impatient girl she was, Victoire began to move through the halls. She knew her way around here easily now. She remembered how daunting it had seemed back when she was eleven, walking through the halls. She'd not been as adventurous the and was far too scared of getting lost. After hearing stories from her family about the sort of things that you could find within the castle, she was reluctant to really go looking for trouble. Now, though, she didn't even flinch ans she moved through the darken corridors lit only by candles, her feet hitting against the floor the only noise. This place was like home. It wasn't that there wasn't anything to be scared of. That was certainly not true. But she knew she was protected from the things that go bump in the night. Plus, she was pretty handy with a wand.
Coming out into the grounds, the blond haired Weasley sighed. Their school was so pretty. She had often wandered muggle streets during the breaks from school and she had been struck by how industrial they were. This place was just plain magical beauty. She spotted someone lounging on a bench and scoffed when she faintly recognized who it was. A ravenclaw boy, a prefect. He was in seventh year, yet Victoire hadn't really spoke to him before. Well, there was a first time for everything. Tiptoeing up to the boy, she looked down at him."Wow. You prefects have suuch a hard job." She drawled, sarcasm plain in her voice. "Really. I don't know how you manage to cope." She looked to the boy. What was his name again? She knew it began with an 'M'. At least she knew that much. "I'm Victoire. Victoire Weasley."

Malachi was starting realize maybe they should have picked a better prefect at the same time he was digging being outside at all random hours. He wished he was head boy in a way for him it would be a bigger responsibility. Responsibility was something Chi really didn’t care about. Though, of course he did some of his duties at night for the heck of it. He really honestly wasn’t expecting anyone outside well, at least to talk to him. He closed his eyes taking in the smoke of his cigarette and enjoying the night time air. It was fresh, and compared to where he lived at in the city things were a lot more dense. He was use to his Irish roots; he vaguely remembered his village that he lived in before his turning. He still visited his aunt and uncle there and still had an Irish accent. But his vampire side was something he still hadn’t quiet grasped on. His mind at a lost with the cigarette, but he made sure he could hear what was going on as well sniffing every once and awhile. He figured if he smelt a wolf he could be on the ball for a fight or whatever he needed to protect himself. Chi knew what happen to one of the vampires at the school because of a werewolf got to here. He was just hoping it wouldn’t be the thing to actually wouldn’t turn into all-out war.
It was when he could hear footsteps heading his way he opened his eyes watching to see who was coming his way. He didn’t really know why he was just on a slight alert with people these days. He had seen a blonde headed girl heading his way. He knew it was one of the Weasleys, he just didn’t know which one she was. He felt bad he knew them but at the same time he only knew maybe one from that family. He let his guard down knowing it was just a student and not a threat. He watched as she tiptoed up to him and looked down at him. He laughed a little, no way you could sneak up on him in this state. “Oh yeah such a hard job… you know.” He said with a little laugh. His blue eyes locked on to the blond headed girl above him. “Oh I manage to cope with it by cigarettes.” He said with a charming accent as it started to come into play on who Malachi was. Chi listened to her as she introduced herself to him. That was when it started to click in his head the girl was in 6th year, which was probably where he kind of seen her from. “Victorie, nice to meet you. I am Chi, well Malachi Bludd. “He said as he moved to let her sit down on the bench next to him. It was strange for the ravenclaw boy to actually not have his guitar with him or playing on it.

Tiptoeing had been a spectacular waste of her time and effort. The guy merely chuckled at her pathetic attempt to be James Bond. Or, since this was after all Hogwarts, James Wand. Yes, she had completely failed in her mission to act like James Wand, the wizard with a licence to kill. Merlin, she should write a book about that! Apparently muggles seemed to like books about witchcraft and wizardry. Then again, they also seemed to have a love of sparkling vampires so maybe their tastes left something to be desired. Everyone knows vampires don't sparkle! Not that Victoire herself had experience in the matter, but she was pretty sure that if they sparkled she'd know about it. Anyway, Victoire would write a book! And if she told that to Teddy or a family member they would laugh. Sure, she wasn't the most patient, or the most organized. She sucked at plans and often her thought's trailed away with her. Okay, maybe writing wasn't the profession for her. Pity, because James Wand would have been a best seller.
Turning back to him, she grinned. Thank god, the guy could take a joke. She wrinkled her nose when he said that he used cigarettes, visibly disgusted. Correcting herself, she tried not to show hr dislike for the vile death sticks. It was one of the less nice muggle habits. One that Toire just didn't understand. They tasted and smelled vile. "Don't cha know? Those things will kill you." She teased, stating the obvious. Everyone knew that cigarettes were killers. After all, it said so on the packet in bold, underlined writing. And, if you couldn't read, the skull and bones should make it very obvious.
She chewed at her gum, trying to figure out what his accent was. Scottish? No.. Irish! He was Irish. People often said Toire had a slight accent, what with her mother and all. It was very slight, but noticable to some. Toire didn't notice it at all. Maybe people just associated her with her mother too much because she was blond and part Veela. She visibly shrugged, before realizing she had an audience. The girl was often going off into her own little world, emotions and expressions plain on her face. When invited to sit, Toire did so readily. Malachi. Good. She'd have to remember his name for next time they met. "Nice to finally meet you Malachi." It was odd that she had been at Hogwarts six years yet there were still so many people she didn't know. "So, aren't you supposed to be deducting house points? Giving the ragamuffins detention? Being the big bad wolf? Stealing candy from a slytherin who would then threaten you with threats that their father would hear about this? Honestly, you are seriously lagging in your duties Mister."

Chi thought this girl was pretty crazy, well for the most part he did. But like all his friends she wasn’t as crazy as they were. He knew he was probably just as crazy as most people around the school. Of course the stupid things he thinks of was a long list even if he was a Ravenclaw student he didn’t act like one. It brought a lot of attention to the HOH because well those two didn’t along much either. Chi was in away like his older Addison, he was a flirt with any girl but he had a knack for not following the rules, but still being with in guide lines of still being the prefect. If you asked anyone Addison and Malachi were probably the two prefects found to be together because of the close sibling sides. He looked at the girl again wondering what she was thinking of. Of course it brought one factor to play the fact his vampire side would make things a bit interesting. He always made sure he would keep his fangs a little hidden from her. He didn’t want to freak the poor thing out with his fangs. Of course then again he had a few siblings in her house so he really didn’t know what they have already done. If it was anything like his house Chi had almost everyone know his vampire side. Just because of a few werewolves in the house.
He came back out of his mental state listening to Victorie speak about cigarettes being natural killers. Sure there were a lot of toxins in them to eventually devour organs. Then thinking about it Malachi was technically dead, he had a death certificate to prove it. Of course that was the day he was turned into what he was now. That and it was to him sort of cool to have a death certificate hanging on his wall. Yes, his siblings thought he was crazy too. “Well… Technically saying I am already dead, I think the only thing that can kill me at this point is a werewolf or another vampire. But do agree I should stop smoking sometime.” He said with a laugh. It was kind of a self-admit that he just blurted out about being a vampire, though he really needed to learn to stop smoking. It was a lecture from his brother every time he smoked. It really wasn’t the fact it would kill him it was the fact his brother believed that it was a horrible muggle habit Chi picked up on.
When she spoke Malachi could pick up on a slight accent. He had a keen sense of listening to voices to pick up an accent. He though wouldn’t say anything because figuring it wasn’t his place to ask where she was from since she was a Weasley. He laughed a little when she was talking about his prefect duties, or the lack there of. “Nice to meet you too.” He said to her. He really loved to meet new people. It was the fact after 7 years at school he really needed to make a lot more friends even if it meant only the last year at Hogwarts. He thought about what she said and shook his head. “Well sure if I really wanted to do those sort of things. I can’t really get any Slytherin’s in trouble when I am friends with a few of them… that and its my older brother’s job to get them into trouble. House points depending on the age, I’ll let most students go with a warning. Kind of a softy on that…. Lacking on my duties I am perfect at that… That and I am trying to see if I could get in trouble with the professor in charge of Ravenclaw. Want to help me?” He said jokingly. He loved having fun out side. “Beside if I was a wolf I would be less fun. That and I like my fangs more than claws.” He added after a moment.

He was already.. He was a vampire! Malachi Bludd. Duh! She'd heard they were vamps (was that the politically correct term?) She just hadn't really hung around with any of them before. Huh. That was unbelievably cool. She looked him over again. "Hm, maybe so, but you're not gonna get any girl stinking of cigarettes. Sure, the vampire thing works in your favor. After all, girls seem to fantasize about them. However, Smoking is a no no as far as girls are concerned."
She shook her head. "You don't need to get your friends in trouble! Just the assholes. I could give you a list of names if you want?" In general, Toire wasn't one to judge by house. She found i so unbelievably silly. However, it was a simple fact that all of the people who and wronged her were in slytherin. Probably served her right for dating a couple of slytherins, but hey. His brother?... The seventh year slytherin. At least, Toire was pretty sure that's who he meant. The prefect, right? She arched an eyebrow. A softie? Really? "For some reason, you really don't strike me as a softie. Actually, you seem pretty bad ass.
A grin lit her face. She was always up for a little mischief. She was a Weasley after all. "Do you even have to ask? What did you have in mind?Unless, of course, you're too chicken to really commit to it." She knew he had been joking with the offer, she just wanted to see whether or not he'd agree. And if he did, who was she to say no? Okay, maybe this could be called entrapment. Entrapment, shapment. She just wanted to have some fun!
A laugh left her lips. Hah! The big bad wolf. She hadn't noticed when she was saying it that her word choice had been funny. It would be odd hanging out with him. She'd have to get used to chilling with a vampire. Her eyes lit up when he spoke of his fangs. "Can I see them? Pleaaaase?"

Malachi really never thought about girl’s fantasying over vampires especially when you got down to the point of all vampires were was blood sucking creatures who only survived by blood. That’s when Malachi realized he hadn’t really ate in a while. He figured the cravings weren’t coming to him so he had a few weeks for it. He rolled his eyes at the fact girls really were crazy about vampires. In his mind he couldn’t figure it out. For him he was drawn to vampires only because he grew up around them so it was natural for him. Though, he did have a natural flirt with any girl who was willing to flirt with him. It was kind of silly little things he started picking up from hanging around Addison a lot. “So let me ask you this, since you’re not a vamp or anything unnatural. Why do girls think vampires are hot? I mean it’s really odd to hear that. Oh and granted on the cigarettes I don’t smoke them often at least. It’s a habit I picked up from my uncle when I see him.” He said with a laugh. He was seriously curious though and figured that maybe Torie knew a good answer to why girl’s liked vampires. To him it was pretty cool that if girls found him attractive it meant he had been using it to his advantage for a long time. He laughed when she said get the bad Slytherins in trouble. He figured he could do that eventually.
“Depending on which one’s they are I can tell if I’ve already gotten them into trouble or not. Or if Addison my brother probably has gotten them into trouble. I can almost bet Addison’s put them into detention.” He said with a laugh. He knew if any Slytherin’s got into trouble it was Addison who got them there. Usually the two were inseperatable when they were on their duties. Tonight though was different, Malachi wanted some alone time, or at least away from him. He was getting tired of his brother and couldn’t find any of his other siblings. He laughed when she called him a bad ass. Of course he was a bad ass it was the piercings and tattoos he had that showed him on that side. “Really? So what makes me seem like a bad ass love? Seriously because I let a lot of people off on things they shouldn’t be off for.” He said laughing at that factor. Malachi was good at hiding his actual self because of hiding his vampire side he couldn’t really bit someone at school. “Well if you’re in I was thinking of some vandalism to well ravenclaw dorms, and his office.” He said casually. He was really going to do some damage to his dorm room. He wasn’t sure about going to the office just because he would be facing a ton of time that he could be using for playing guitar or doing his homework to the classes he seemed to be ditching a lot of.
He rolled his eyes when she asked to see his fangs. For Chi it wasn’t something new fangs were fangs but he knew Victorie had never seen anything like fangs before. “Alright, alright you can see them. Just whatever you do don’t touch them. Because my fangs are sharp.” He said opening his mouth wide enough to show off his fangs. They themselves lowered showing the sharp pearl white fangs. He didn’t want her cutting her finger on his fang nor did he want to get her blood in his mouth.

Not unnatural? What exactly did he think qualified as normal? She was part Veela AND she was a Weasley. That was as abnormal as you could get. Nothing about her life was normal in the slightest. "Buddy, I'm Veela. Men fall at my feet for no reason. Heck, apparently I could do this singing thing where I lure a guy into a trance." She'd always been too scared to try, but it was apparently a Veela ability. "Does that sound natural to you?" There was a hint of bitterness in her voice. She wasn't a lover of the whole Veela thing.
Toire looked at him, an eyebrow raised. He was a curious one, wasn't he? He probably wanted to know how to better woo the ladies. Then again, if there was a reasonable explanation for the attraction people had to her, she'd want to know it. "I guess... It's probably because of the mystery factor. You're an unknown element. Plus, you're immortal, right? Also, some girls are attracted to danger. Not me, nooo. But some." Lie, lie, big fat obvious lie. It was well known that Victoire Weasley had a terrible taste in men, she was always dating the bad boys. There was a very long list of failed relationships to prove it.
Addison. She'd have to remember that name. "Remind me to thank your brother. I'm so grateful I may just run up to him and give him a big kiss!" She was being silly. Toire was always being silly. Though, she wasn't above giving the guy a kiss on the cheek if he had disciplined to asshole snakes. She bit at the inside of her cheek, turning to study the boy beside her. Why did she think he was badass? She really didn't know. It probably had something to do with the whole don't judge a book by a cover thing. "Okay, I may have judged you based on appearance. You look badass. I shouldn't have judged you based on that. It sucks to be judged because of the way you look." Toire knew this from personal experience, though he didn't need to know that. "So, if you're not badass, I need to reevaluate everything I ever though about you. So, what do you do in your spare time if you're not wreaking havoc and driving around on muggle motorbikes looking oh so cool?"
Her face lit up. Okay, so vandalism wasn't really her thing. She preferred more magically creative means of sabotage, but she supposed it would be fun. " Sounds fun. But, if my uncle Harry.. I mean.. The headmaster catches us, I'm blaming this one on you. My mother can be scary when she wants to be. I think she learned how to be a mother from Grandma Molly." He probably didn't know what she was talking about, but it didn't matter. She was making conversation. She began to bounce on the balls of her feet when he said she could see his fangs. However, telling her not to touch them was a bad idea. Actually, telling any Weasley not to do something was a bad idea. It just meant the hand to do it. Reaching her hand towards his fangs she said, "The can't be that sha..ow!" She pulled her hand back, her fingertip bleeding. Huh, so that's why he'd said not to touch them. "Huh, I guess they are sharp." The blood was beginning to flow quickly now and she stuck her finger in her mouth and sucked on it to stop the bleeding. It was weird to think that Malachi used blood, that icky metallic thing, for nourishment. Really, she was wasting perfectly good blood. What is the appropriate thing to do when you're bleeding in front of a vampire?
- tag : Malachi - notes : ...Toire is an idiot. He was practically asking her to touch the fangs though, she's just that kind of girl xP - words : 655 - outfit : Hogwarts gryffindor robes - credit : template brought to you by The_Actress. lyrics from RIVER by LIGHTS!

Malachi really thought anything outside of needing blood to survive or transforming into something during full moons was still pretty normal. He laughed at her little statement about being not normal.“Being part veela I honestly really think that’s kind of normal thing. I mean it beats needing blood to survive. I so want that ability! I could use that to my advantage. Seriously Victorie if you think about that’s just some sort of ability that you have. I say normal is something that you don’t have to survive on blood or have a transformation to some sort of monster… But in all seriousness you make normal as much as you can.” He said looking at her. He thought it would be cool to have the ability to put someone under a trance. He kind of was able to do that when he needed to find a supply of human blood. He rarely used it though, it was something he really felt bad for it. He smirked knowing that what she said about girls liking vampires for the element of mystery and then she said not her. He rolled his eyes when she said that. “Well… girls are pretty odd then I guess on the factor being a vampire. I have a strong feeling that you are kind of like them in that sense? Oh yes we are immortal, this is probably all the much I am going to age since being turned.”He said with a laugh. Malachi was pretty quick on catching up on this girl. It wasn’t really something special chi just knew how to read people.
He looked at Victorie oddly when she said she needed to give Addison a big kiss when she seen him next. Though, he was almost positive Addi wouldn’t mind that. “Yeah I’ll remind you on that. Actually I could do one better next time on my prefect duties, I am usually with him I’ll come find ya. Though between you and me, he’s kind of more a ladies man than I am.” Chi said laughing a little on that fact. It was true though, his brother had girls falling at his feet for him. “I have to say you are the most interesting girl I’ve hung out with in a long time.”He added after a moment. He smiled a little knowing he got that a lot though. He was kind of a bad ass though in all reality. He was smart though, and knew how to pull off a couple bad ass looks. He thought about it for a few moments he had about twenty tattoos two piercings and some times wore tight pants. He ditched class a lot, well he was a rebel in Ravenclaw house and was a good musician. “Well I can see it. To be honest I get it a lot I mean not many have piercings or tattoos at age 17. I’ll be honest I am a bit of a bad ass. Spare time… well let’s see I am not your typical book worm for a Ravenclaw prefect. I play guitar, I ditch class… a ton umm I smoke. I don’t really know honestly if I am not on prefect duty I am usually playing guitar or ditching classes down in hogsmead. Or partying. Hmm I am kind of a bad ass.” He laughed realizing his life wasn’t like his brother. He was the rebel of his family didn’t matter much at all.
He was kind of shocked to see her light up when he offered to do some trouble making. He only wanted to do Ravenclaw because it was fun. Though, he did pull a huge prank on the girls of Slytherin when he was drunk. “Sweet I am down with that! I’ll take the blame if the headmaster finds out… I’ve been in his office a few… times. And mothers trust me can’t be as bad as mine. Well she’s my adopted mother, and she’s one scary vampire when she gets mad. Of course I am convinced she is over a 100 years old. But is that a bad thing she learned from your grandmother then?” He asked her curiously. Chi in a sense did wonder about family’s. Most of his siblings were turned and adopted into the Bludd family line. So they never shared same family and their actual ages varied. He really didn’t mind showing his fangs off. Just he didn’t like when people touched them for the simple fact if he hadn’t feed in a while he would get hungry and hunt. Malachi knew he could control the blood thirst for a while till he was able to sneak off. He rolled his eyes as she touched his fangs and he could taste the blood left on his fangs. He licked it off. “Told ya they were sharp. Normally when I say that people don’t actually touch them… ok then again you’re probably one of the few I’ve actually came out and said I was a vampire. Don’t worry I am not going to bit you. Its kind of forbidden at school for a vampire to actually use students for blood.” He said with a laugh. Of course chi had a good hold on his mind and hunger.

Huh. Toire had never really thought of it that way. Maybe she'd been wallowing in self pity and she hadn't seen the bigger picture? She was okay. Sure, her appearance forced people to think they were feeling something they weren't, but she didn't have to deal with anything like vampirism. Maybe she was a lot more normal than she had originally thought. She hadn't really thought that being a veela would be something she could actually use to her advantage. Kind of silly, huh? She chewed on the inside of her cheek. "Okay, okay! Being a Veela rocks. I just suck at it. I need serious practice. Apparently my ancestors could turn into weird bird like things so I'm not too fond of that idea, but I guess I could get people to do whatever I wanted? Does the Veela thing work on you vampires? Do I give you an odd feeling?" Different people described the influence of a Veela in different ways. She was curious as to how it was for a vampire. As far as she knew, she'd never really spoke to one in depth before so she had never figured out whether vampires could be bespelled by a Veela.
She raised an eyebrow. Caught. She shook her head. "Sorry dude, I'm sure you're a real lady killer.." She cringed at the expression. This was definitely not the right time to use it. "I mean, I'm sure you're a real hit with the ladies. I just prefer my guys with a pulse. I have enough boy troubles as it is." She meant it entirely teasingly. She wasn't saying anything bad against vampires really, she just wasn't attracted to the vampire thing. Danger and bad boys? Yes. Vampires? She didn't really get the swoon factor. She looked him over again then. "Wow.. That's.. that's so weird! To stay young forever? I dunno whether it would be the best thing ever or the worst."
Toire grinned. Ah, a ladies man. She had experience with them, but if he was Malachi's brother Toire doubted he could be that bad. "Can't wait. Someone has to thank him for his great work in annoying the assholes. Sometimes, I wish I'd been made perfect, but the power would go to my head. The entire school would be in detention. Plus, the hogwarts staff weren't nearly drunk enough to choose me as a perfect. Such as shame." She sighed, as though put out, but really she didn't care. She had never fancied being a perfect.
A snort accompanied his statement. Yes, she definitely was interesting. "What can I say? It's a talent. Insanity tends to make one interesting." He was pretty interesting too. After all, he was the first vamp she'd ever met. That was pretty damn cool. Yes, he definitely wasn't the typical Ravenclaw, but other than that, his life seemed pretty normal. "Please at least say the parties are insane and crazy, otherwise I have lost all faith in the badass life style. You're supposed to be doing crazy stuff! Think outside of the box for crying out loud." However, the fact that he played the guitar was cool. Very rockeresque.
YES! Causing havoc. Toire always found that fun. Her left eyebrow arched. A few times. "How the hell did you manage to make perfect? Did you get the professors drunk?" After all, he didn't really seem a likely candidate for perfect status. The ferociousness of her mother seemed to pale in comparison to the idea of a scary vamp momma bear. That was just terrifying. Toire loved her mum really, and she loved her gran. They were both, however, very good at embarassing and/ or punishing their children. "Naw, not really. My gramma's pretty badass. She killed Bellatrix Lestrange for crying out loud, that's pretty cool! My mum and my gran are just really good with punishments. They're very... nurturing and can be scary when they want to be." Still, she loved them dearly. Her whole family was so damn cool. This generation would have to try hard to keep up with it all.
It was kind of odd, seeing him lick her blood off one of his fangs. For a second she was scared he would go all crazy bloodthirst on her. She chuckled. She had kind of figured that there would be some laws in place to stop the vampires snacking." And here I thought this would be an all you can eat buffet for you. So, What does blood taste like? Is there a difference between muggle and wizard? Or blood types? Does my Veela blood make it taste different? There must be a lot of different... you know,.. flavors?" She didn't know whether she was supposed to ask about this sort of thing, but either way she had. What could she say? She was a curious girl

Chi knew natural abilities were something you could live with, depending on who you were. He knew every wizard and witch had their own ability they were proud of. Malachi was a proud vampire, though he wished he wasn’t turned. He started to kind of wonder what would happen if he actually was a wizard growing up if things were different. He looked at her when she spoke about her ancestors being veela’s. He really didn’t know much about them other than what he read in books. He always liked to see the big picture when it came down to things; nothing was as bad as it really was. “Sounds interesting. I am not sure on if Veela’s have an effect on vampires. I mean as vampires we can lure humans in for food. But I guess it’s the same as a veela right? As far as I know… no you are having any effect on me. I see you as a normal student here.” He said shrugging it off. He didn’t feel like she had an effect on him. Though, Malachi knew that she wasn’t really his type. He preferred a girl who was a rebel and a vampire. He would settle with living girl though. In away Malachi had his eyes set on a girl who would like him even if he was a vampire and his rebel side of things. Even the book studying side that was actually a ravenclaw. The side no one was really allowed to see, not even his siblings.
He laughed when she said he was a real lady killer, he actually lacked the vampire mystery just because he was busy being himself and not really caring about girls. “I am far from it…. I seriously lack something my brother has. I lack the charm but make it up with rebel.” He said with a laugh. He didn’t have charm like any other vampire out there. He started laughing really hard when she talked about having a guy with a pulse and having boy troubles. “I think we both have issues then. Meh, living is over rated sometimes. Boy problems? Mind if I ask how do you have boy problems. You seem sweet and you’re pretty. I am saying this as friend.” He asked her, he was really curious one. He had girl troubles his was he couldn’t ever seem to get or keep one long enough. He shook his head when she spoke again about this time being immortal. It really depended on if you were all for staying young and alive forever. “It’s good I guess. I mean it sucks if you don’t have that one person to spend it with life can bleh. I know this girl, she’s getting married now her and her fiancée are vampires… actually cute little love story she’s 19 and he’s 24 and he saved her life.” He said with a laugh. He knew Jaxx would hate him if she found out he was telling her story on how she met Quinn. “But immortality is just what you make it.” He added after a few moments and shrugged it off as if it wasn’t anything big.
He started laughing when she said she wanted to be a prefect and thanking Addison for the help. He rolled his eyes; he had been it since his fifth year back before he became the rebel he was. He knew many wanted to be prefect because they had the ability to do just about anything and get away with it. They also got to roam around the halls for a few hours after curfew. “Yeah, he gets all the girls so he’s pretty much thanked a lot…. And trust me being prefect is fun just a lot of rules you have to follow. So it’s best you stay the way you are as a student.” He said thinking about it. He really loved being prefect, even though some of the staff disliked him greatly. He would always be that rebel student. He looked up to the sky as she spoke. The night time was perfect was just being normalish. “Well that’s always a good thing. And the party’s hell yes they are crazy and wild. Addison’s best friend Jaxx throws them all the time. Her and her fiancée really bring hogsmead in an uproar when they do. Though, Jaxx is probably more of a partier then her fiancée. Maybe you’ll have to go some time with me. Skip class one day and hang down at the bar in hogsmead with me.” He said with a laugh. Oh the fun times that boy would get into with Jaxx and Quinn. It was funny the two knew each because of both being ravenclaws, she was very smart and after school decided she didn’t want to apply herself to anything. She was prefect when he was starting out prefect. He learned from her. It was when Torie asked him how he became a prefect, he shrugged a little. “Well… I’ve been it for the last two years… before this year I was actually a typical Ravenclaw student, a book worm attended classes. Just this year I decided I’d set myself apart from the crowd. Well ok tattoo’s I’ve had since 14.” He said laughing.
He listened to her speak about her family. They sounded like entertainment. He didn’t know much about the Bludd’s or his own family. Really he didn’t know his last name or his mother’s name was. His aunt and uncle were the Bludd’s they were friends of the family. But it was kind of a thing once you were turned you really didn’t speak to your family again, vampirism was a last resort for most. Only a few vampires who were turned knew their family. “Sounds pretty cool family then. I don’t know much about my family and where they were during those times. I think I’d be a little scared of your grandma.” He said with a laugh. He didn’t think he would be able to deal with a family like that. His family was chaotic as well but nothing compared to the weasley’s. He laughed at her idea of what would happen with the blood and the different tastes of blood. “Its mind over matter basically, if a vampire can control their blood thirst then they can survive in a normal human society. As far as blood tastes go it’s all about the same taste. Well except when you taste werewolf blood or for that matter animal blood. Once you get with animal blood it’s too gross I guess but we learn to survive on it at least during school year. Yours really doesn’t taste and different only a little bit sweeter.” He said shrugging it off. He didn’t want to explain how he knew what werewolf blood tasted like.

She snorted, looking him over. Of course he was interested by all things. Him saying she had no effect on him made her laugh, not because she thought it was a crazy idea or anything vain like that. Just, the way he said it suggested she wasn't attractive to him at all. He didn't even try to shield her feelings. It was obvious that Malachi was honest and that was unbelievably refreshing. "What, you don't find me devastatingly beautiful?" She joked, striking a pose. "I got to admit, that hurts. Your words cut me deep." She was playing with him. Actually it was quite a cool idea, having a friend who wasn't attracted to you in the slightest. It was a lot less awkward than a sexual tension friend.
Thank god. He didn't seem to be angered about the whole lady killer thing. He, in fact, seemed to find it funny. So, he wasn't the flirt of the family? Toire had kind of thought as much. He just didn't seem like a player in any way. Sure, he wasn't your average Ravenclaw, but he also didn't seem like the sort of guy who used girls. She chuckled, yes he was definitely good at the rebel thing. "Trust me, the charm isn't always a good thing. It often turns guys into bloody arse-holes!" Merlin knew she'd experienced that after effects of the charm.
She raised an eyebrow. "Pretty? You charmer." He was saying that this was as a friend, so though she had only just met him, she felt that she could talk about this with him. " Okay. I'll be scientific here. I suppose I can blame the veela thing. So, my part-veelaness makes me attractive to others. It makes men find me more alluring than I am. There are two main problems with this. Firstly, you wouldn't like a girl just because she was alluring to you, would you?You may swoon or whatever, but her personality would matter. The guys that chase after me do so purely on lust. They may think it's love, but it's lust. So, said guys tend to be pricks. The other factor is that it wears off. Well, kind of. The more time you spend with a veela, the easier it is to distinguish whether or not you actually like them. When the magic wears off a bit, I become less attractive. Maybe as a normal with they'd like me, but after knowing the veela Victoire, the real version doesn't seem so good." She shrugged. Really, it was a pain in the arse. But, what could she do?
Toire got how immortality could be both a gift and a curse. "I hope you find that one person." And she really did. The girl got a feeling he deserved it. "So, are your whole family vampires? How does it work? Hah. His brother got all the girls. She bet he was 'thanked' regularly and her mouth tilted upwards at the euphemism, whether or not it was intentional. Huh. To hang down at hogsmeade. That would definitely be fun. [color-440e62]"Sure, just don't corrupt me too much, 'kay? No piercings or tattoos. Otherwise you'll have the whole Weasley family after you, plus Teddy Lupin."
[/color] Toire was often grateful for her family and their protective nature, but sometimes it was damn annoying. Heck, she was one of the older ones, yet she was still protected even by her younger male cousins. Her eyes widened. Werewolf blood? Vampire blood? "You've ate the big bad wolf?" Then she gasped, realizing. "Please dear Merlin don't say you've ate Bambi?!?!" She didn't think she'd be able to do that. She wasn't squeamish when it came to blood, but she couldn't drink it. - tag : Malachi - notes : =) - words : Enough =) - outfit : Hogwarts gryffindor robes - credit : template brought to you by The_Actress. lyrics from RIVER by LIGHTS![/blockquote][/blockquote]
