FALLING IN THE SPACE BETWEEN THE UNIVERSE AND ALL WE SEE... ( HAS GONE AWAY, GONE AWAY ) Toire sat, tapping her fingers on her knee. The rock she sat on wasn't particularly comfortable. Then again, no one claimed the forbidden forrest would win any prizes on comfort. Still, sitting on a rock must be better than sleeping with her head rested on one. Say what you will about Victoire Weasley, but she was learning. Yes, she definitely wouldn't be taking any dips in the black lake at four o'clock in the morning in the foreseeable future. She began fiddling with a twig, scraping it against the ground. Where the hell was he? That guy was going to get pummeled if he didn't come soon. He knew how impatient Victoire could be. Part of her figured that maybe he'd forgotten. It was a silly tradition after all. Maybe Albus had just grown up quicker than she had?
The tradition had started pretty much as soon as Albus started hogwarts. They would joke about how they weren't supposed to talk to each other. They were, after all, rivals. A first year Slytherin had to make an impression and talking to a Gryffindor wasn't exactly the best one. Victoire spared him his pride and they struck a deal. She wouldn't embarrass the boy in front of his snake friends, but they would meet up whenever they could. After all, they were close. The two had always spoke to each other freely and Toire wasn't going to give that up. So, there were secret codes put into place. It wasn't through any paranoia, it was just for fun sake. The one rule was that they couldn't use owls. They had to find an elaborate way of getting the messages to each other. Victoire, as always, chose the messy prank route. Using a charm that may or may not have covered him in a pink, soot like, dust, she got a first year to slyly write symbols on his arm while walking beside him. Well, the first year wasn't exactly sly, so Albus should have gotten the message earlier and came street here. That being said, he might have needed to clean up a bit first.
Albus would know where to meet. After all, they'd been meeting in the same spot for five years now.Even though it was perfectly acceptable for them to talk in public, they just found this far more fun and secretive. She perked up when she heard the sound of twigs braking under foot. Finally. She ran then, tackling the poor boy to the ground. "ALBY! Where you been, slugger? I've been waiting ages!"

Albus had been in a fairly good mood all day. Especially when he had gotten Toire's message. The two had always been the closest out of all the Weasleys. They just clicked. They always told each other everything, no matter how serious it was. Right now he was in his dorm after class, attempting to get rid of the rest of the pink powder that had somehow covered him from head to toe. No doubt that it was Victoire. She had always been like that, going to extremes when she wanted to get somebody's attention. Finally, doing his best to shake some of the pink powder out of his hair, he pulled off the green and silver tie and tossed it onto his bed. He grabbed his jacket before leaving his dorm. He waved to a few of his 'snake friends' as Toire liked to call them and left the common room.
He felt the familiar chill as he walked throughout the dungeons. Looking up at the ceiling to see the green-ish color, before staring straight ahead. He couldn't help but have a small bounce in his step as he walked, straight for the Forbidden Forest. As soon as he stepped inside, he felt a weight thrust upon him. He chuckled as he looked up at his cousin, Victoire, who was grinning down at him. "Hello to you, too," he said, laughing softly. He pushed her off of him softly before standing up and helping her back up to her feet. "How's your day been?" he asked, pulling his favorite cousin into a hug. Although he was a year younger, he was still taller as he rested his chin on top of her head.
(sorry, kinda short)

FALLING IN THE SPACE BETWEEN THE UNIVERSE AND ALL WE SEE... ( HAS GONE AWAY, GONE AWAY ) Toire laughed, rolling off her cousins and onto the leafy floor. Pulling herself to stand, she patted down her robes and removed stray twigs from her hair. She looked her cousin over as though she hadn't seen him in years. "You're still shorter than me!" Well, that was a blatant lie. She'd been saying it ever since he started growing and overtaking her in height. Toire wrapped her arms around her cousin, grinning. God, it had been far far too long since they had hung out. She looked him over again, a laugh escaping her lips when she saw a pink powder. Hah! But this just meant that there would be pay back. They were Weasleys after all. A Weasley ho didn't know how to prank and get revenge was like a Goblin that wasn't moody. It was just part of their genetic make up or whatever.
"My day has been... unevenful. You know.. been... reading in the room." A sly smile lit her lips. Albus would know that was a lie. Toire hadn't found many books that could actually keep her interested. "You, however, look like you had a much more interesting day. What d'ya do? Get into a fight with a fairy princess?" She ruffled his hair and watched as pink stuff fell to the forest floor. It would take ages for him to get all of that out. "Huh, Green and pink really do clash." That was one of the reasons she had chose it. That, plus pink was thought of as such a girly colour.
Albus and Toire hadn't really spoke since the Violet thing. Toire had wanted to talk to her younger cousin so badly then, but she couldn't find the time. It was a blow to the whole family, something they took hard. But they were recovering. After all, they still had Violet. She wasn't dead and she'd be okay. That was really all that mattered. Toire decided not to go onto the subject of Vi, though she was itching to get revenge. "So, where have you been the last few weeks, huh? Too busy with the snakes?"

Albus couldn't help but chuckle at Toire's comment as he brushed away some of the twigs and leaves that had stuck to his shirt. "Whatever helps you sleep at night, Toire," he said, laughing softly as he ruffled her hair a bit. He pulled away and walked over to one of the rocks, pretty much assuming that she would follow his lead, and also come over and sit down. Of course, he knew that they weren't all that comfortable, but it was better than sitting on the ground or attempting to climb a tree. He couldn't help but feel that he had been neglecting her. The two cousins hadn't been together in over two weeks. Which was quite odd for them, considering they often spent hours together at least every other day. He always tried to make time for family, mainly because it was hard on him, being a Slytherin and all. "Wow, we really need to manage our time better, huh?" he asked, slinging an arm around his cousin's shoulders.
Albus did his best to keep a straight face at his cousin's response, but failed miserably. "Wait...so you learned how to read these past few weeks? I didn't even know you knew the alphabet," he teased, nudging her with his elbow. Of course, she would know he was teasing. They always teased each other when it came to anything. They were just so relaxed with each other, and that's how he liked it. He didn't want the fact that he was a Slythering to get in the way of anything with his family. Especially Toire. It seemed like some of his family still had an issue with it, though. If Rosie, a good family friend, could get over it, then surely his family should, too. "My day? Oh yeah, you know that Sparkle Fairy that we had to battle in Defence Against the Dark Arts? Yeah, I didn't do too well," he said, shaking his head in mock shame. He watched as some of the pink glitter fell from his hair. "You better watch your back, Weasley," he threatened jokingly.
If Albus really thought about it, he would know that the two hadn't talked since what had happened to Violet. Of course, he wasn't stupid enough to bring the tragedy up, but he was uber grateful that his cousin was safe. All he knew, is that he wanted revenge. And he knew that Fred and Dani were on his side with that. Probably not Beau, though. He was always the more rational one. "Yupp, my snakes are way more important than you lions," he said sarcastically, poking her in the side. "Just kidding. I've been attempting to get all my homework done. I hate O.W.L.'s."

FALLING IN THE SPACE BETWEEN THE UNIVERSE AND ALL WE SEE... ( HAS GONE AWAY, GONE AWAY ) Toire pouted as her cousin ruffled her hair. "You seem to forget that you're younger than me, Albie." He was always so protective, often treating her like a kid. Truthfully he was one of the few people she let get away with it. From Albus, she took it in good humor. Anyone else would probably get kicked or hexed. It would really depend on whether she had her wand at the time.
She snuggled into the boy as he wrapped his arm around her. He was like another brother. All of the Weasleys were like siblings to her. They were just so close. "Damn right we do. Bloody hell, I was going insane with the lack of conversation with my favorite Slytherin. You're the only one who'll let me bitch and moan all day long." Really, it was more give and take than that. They knew all of each others secrets, not that Toire really had many in the first place. He was one of her best friends.
She hit him lightly over the head when he teased her. "The cheek! I'm the funny one here, don't you remember? You just have to stand there and look threatening so as to scare off all the centaurs and those scary as hell unicorns." Toire remembered the first time they'd met in the forbidden forest. For some reason, she hadn't been so scared of the centaurs. She'd feared the unicorns. They were to blindingly beautiful to be true. Even then, she didn't think any one creature could be that good, so unicorns must be wicked. She ended up learning the exact opposite, but that didn't stop her from being kind of scared, kind of threatened by them.
Her jaw dropped. "Sparkle fairy?!?! Whoah, whoah, whoah , that's so not fair. Why did I not get to battle a sparkle fairy?" She joked, trying to contain her laughter. When he said to watch her back, Toire leaned back her head and laughed evilly. "Do you really think you can compare to me?! The all powerful Victoire Weasley? I am the master, and don't you forget it little cousin." They were pretty competitive really. This competition had been going on for years. But they took it in good humor unlike most relatives.
It was her turn to ruffle his hair. "Aw, don't worry Ablie, exams will soon be over. Plus, if I could get through the OWLs process, so can you." She'd actually surprisingly done well in her owls, with enough exeeds expectations and outstandings to do a lot of things. Toire really liked the idea of being an Auror like certain family members, but there were so many other careers she also liked. Really, the girl was entirely unsure what to do. Now Toire was already working towards her NEWTs and she figured it would be best to not tell Albus how much harder it would get.
