it had been a few rough days.
full moon, siblings fighting, father disappointed, she and talia were on thin glass... kit was a whirlwind of emotions and terrible thinking. stuffing her hands in her cloak pocket she walked from the slytherin table and towards the doors. it was dinner; the sun was setting and it was going to get dark very soon. kit didn't care. she was strong enough to protect herself and she never went anywhere without her wand. it was tucked in her back pocket - against all of the professors strict warnings - and sooner or later she'd have it out, tapping against her leg. as she left the castle, the great doors groaned with her shove and she in return rolled her eyes. everything was just ... not going her way.
kit stomped across the paved courtyard before she paused and turned her head to the east, where the abandoned game keepers hut stood, dark and alone. a perfect place to collect her thoughts. kit turned and followed her feet towards the hulking building, careless in how she walked and how she allowed herself to relax. kit knew that since the full moon was over she was potentially weak towards attacks - especially with her ever troubling thoughts of natalia leaving her or something equally scary - but kit needed the release a good argument or fight could bring her.
entering the hut, the werewolf was rewarded with a cloud of dust and a cough attack, which soon passed. it was a large room; a double double bed lined one side and a fireplace was adjacent to it. a small kitchen area across from that, and a 'living' place by the window. there was a door that led to a storage area obviously, as well as the second door that lead to the gardens which were kept up by some students. kit didnt feel enclosed or anything; she felt more at home here than at the slytherin table.
kit took her wand and lit the fireplace, lighting an old wax candle as well to place in the window. approaching the bed she flopped down on it, wincing when the rough mattress refused to sink with her weight. closing her eyes, kit didnt realize she forgot to close the door.

Two Little Princesses Dancing In A Row Spinning Fast And Freely On Their Little Toes Where The Light Will Take Them, No One Seems To Know Classes were very dull lately. Elle would never complain about them outright unless she was speaking to one of her siblings, but today lessons were putting her to sleep. She was usually so good at concentrating on what the professors were saying, yet for some reason their words didn't have any effect on her today. She attributed it to a lack of sleep. She'd had the dream again. She had been having the same dream playing on a loop for a few days now, the same dream that had plagued her when she was younger. There was a girl. A girl who looked exactly like her, but her eyes were old, vacant. And then the girl disappeared. Nora began to search, but it was dark. It was so dark. Everything was so unfamiliar and the girl was gone. She had no one. She had nothing. Then she woke up and clutched at her bed. She had to glance around the room to make sure there were other people, that she wasn't really alone. Nora didn't know why that dream bothered her so much, she didn't even know why she got it. All she knew was that it deeply messed up her sleeping patterns.
When potions was over, she breathed an audible sigh of relief. It was her last class for the day. Thank Merlin! She would be merortified if she had ended up going to another class and falling asleep. Elle hated being the center of attention and sleeping in class would give her a lot of attentio and people laughing at her. Then, a blush would rise to her cheeks as she would stare steadily at her book, unable to utter a word. Yes, the girl was shy.She could speak to the likes of her older brother Ben, along with a few close friends, but that was about it. She was far too self conscious and scared when speaking to other people.
After running from potions, Nora decided to leave the castle. She didn't know where she was to go, until she remembered the hut. There wasn't a grounds keeper in it now and Elle often went there to wind down. She'd even stuffed a few pads of papers with her drawings on one of the messy shelves for when she decided to drop by. She decended the cobble stone steps, almost daring to skip as no one was watching. The hut was where she wanted to go. Maybe she could even have a few hours nap without the people in her dorm waking her? Then again, did she really want to sleep?
The girl didn't hesitate even slightly before bursting into the hut. She didn't even question the door being open. Who would be in there? The answer was no one. No one wanted to go in there. Why would they? When she saw the other girl lying on the bed, her face fell. "Oh! I'm s-s-sorry. I didn't think.. I mean.. I didn't know you were here. Sorry to.. erm.. disturb you." As she turned to leave, her nostrils tickled, feeling odd. She sniffed the air, before frowning and turning back in the direction of the girl. What was that smell? It was the girl, the girl that lay on the bed. Elle took a sniff again. What was she? Cause, she sure wasn't human. Elle stood, feet glued to the floorboards. So much for leaving the girl in peace.

Resting. Kit felt like her personal time was standing still as everyone else rushed around her. The world was her own here in the Gamekeepers Hut and she knew it was. Refusing to move an inch, the werewolf sighed and allowed the stress to peel away from her being. Kit was allowed to focus on herself for a few minutes, a few hours. Whatever. The mattress was beginning to sink with her minuscule weight and she curled up on it, much like a dog would. In these rare intimate times where she could be alone, Kit often delved into her 'animal' side; although not for long.
Kit's unnaturally good hearing caused her to stretch out and tense up, reaching for her wand which was laying on the bed beside her. Her fingers touched the comforting wood just as the person burst into the room. Almost automatically, they began apologizing. Kit lifted herself up from the mattress just as the stench of leech smacked her right in the face. Which family of leeches she came from, the werewolf wasn't sure. But she knew that just like her, the vampire would be able to smell her just as well.
As she went to leave, she stopped and began sniffing. Kit chuckled. The fight she wanted was right there. "I'm a werewolf, and you're a leech." Kit stated nonchalantly. "That's why my blood smells like crap to you, and why you in general smell like a rotting corpse." The werewolf shrugged and leaned back on her arms, not caring about her tone or how she spoke to the girl. All leeches got the same treatment from Kit.
