50 Galleons per student!?
Wasn't that close to around 250 pounds? That was a lot of money; Beau suddenly wanted to send some home; help his parents out even though they didn't need the money. Beau knew that he should spend it, considering that the Galleon's would disappear even if they weren't used, wasn't that the norm here at Hogwarts?
Beau entered the room and was surprised with the amount of wizarding and muggle gambling tables and machines around. Immediately his eyes wandered for Lily or someone from his huge family; maybe he could make it into a group thing.
Beau was glad that Prefects didn't have to be on Prefect duty for this event - he was going to relax and have fun even if it killed him.

Arthur knew that he didn't know anything about casinos or gambling with cards and money, but he figured he might as well check out what everybody was going to do that night. This year was the year of opportunities. Arthur was finally able to participate in dances and events such as casino night. Arthur couldn't decide if he should go casual or dress up. He heard that it was a masquerade ball, and was glad that his friend's older sister had gotten him one since Arthur knew he'd never have gotten one himself.
Arthur dressed in black dress pants, a white button up with a red skinny tie. His growth spurt of four inches made him pass for a fifth year and Arthur knew this would come in handy. Telling his friends he'd meet him down in the casino, Arthur was going to try to catch anybody he knew, and that could be anybody. Just a quick turn and Arthur entered the cool aura of casino night. "Beau! Hey wait up!" Arthur called after his older brother. Striding over, he caught up to him and beamed up at him. He still had to look up to Beau, but he knew that someday he'd be as tall as Beau. So do you know how to play any of these games?" Surely his older brother would know a little bit about Muggles since he was quite a bit older than Arthur was.

Danica sauntered down to the great hall. Tonight was casino night, every student was given 50 galleons. Oh yes, the youngest of Charlie Weasley's daughters had no sense of money management so she was going to blow it all in the name of a good time. She kept her purse close and she saw a good number of students filter into the great hall. However, two particularly caught her eye. Arthur and Beau- her brothers. She immediately let a smile come across her face. She walked over in between them, putting an arm around each one. "Why hello boys, what brings you to the great hall on a night such as this?" She asked with a grin. She realized for the first time she had to reach up to put her arm around Arthur, he was barely her little brother anymore.
She was happy that her youngest brother was able to finally attend these events. Now they were just missing Violet. "So where should we start?" She asked as she realized Arthur had posed a question, "Yeah Beau how does this work?" She asked toying with her elder brother. The atmosphere was one of pure happiness and fun. She loved it and just ate it up! This spirit of camaraderie was exactly what Dani needed at the moment.
