It was one of the greatest things invented, the weekend. It was thankfully that indeed, to where anyone could be where they wanted and could do whatever they wanted. It was great, and the brunette loved it. Today would be just like any other day. Harper Greyback was actually in the mood to go out and maybe taunt the people who bothered to be in her way. Climbing up the stairs into her dorm, she changed her clothes into a simple pair of jeans with a stripe sweater with a light green tank top underneath. She completed the outfit with a pair of flats, which made her feel comfortable. For being in November, it made her actually like this season. Her hair was actually loose today, letting it fall on her back and not so ridiculous. Other than those, she looked like her normal self. Finding anything else she needed, like her wand, she headed back down the stairs and into the common room, then out of the painting and heading up into the great hall. She had her own plans today and truth be told, she hated going alone, but she would have to be a good girl and go by herself until she meets someone there or walking their way to the destination she was heading too. Harper headed out of the castle then, her hands crossed over and placed on her chest. She was in the mood to enjoy the weather and her specialty, but she really didn’t want to be bothered at the same time. She was one of those bi-polar people, but she was just always moody. But in all seriousness, she was just in a mood to go out and be her normal self like she always was, and everyone could agree right there.
Harper headed towards that little bridge thing that connected her to the other land mass. Yeah, she was heading over to Hogsmeade, since she had nothing else planned. Her arms stayed crossed as she noticed other people here and there coming and going. She kept her glare on her face, giving it directly to the people who gave her a look back. Watch out you damn Hufflelump. She growled. She hated other house people; they just bothered and annoyed her. She could sniff out the blood types they had. It wasn’t that hard to her. She could read people like a book so it was everything good. Crossing over to the other side finally, she made her steps a bit shorter, calmly walking and not giving a damn about what people were thinking. With some of the leaves crunching underneath her feet, she finally made it into that small little town. Like usual, it was packed with students and adults. Students were going into the three broomsticks or Madam Pudifoots whereas the adults were going into Hogs Head. Harper would probably go by the three broomsticks later on her way back or something. But she wasn’t going now, she had something else planned. Finding Honeydukes sweet shop, Harper made her way into the semi packed building. They had almost every type of candy there was in there. Striding to the back, she grabbed one of those little baskets. Walking around, she picked up the Chocoballs and Licorice Wands and Chocolate Frogs. She listened into others conversations, laughing at some of them. Why were people so stupid in their conversations? It was mostly their he said she said types. It was pointless. Hence why Harper would laugh at them, who did those types of conversations anymore? Oh yeah, weird people did.
Sighing, she went around the store again, looking for stuff. She was that bored truthfully. All she wanted now, other than being in the mood she was in, was someone to talk to her or just walk around with her. Was that so hard to even ask?

Beck made his way out of his dorm in the Ravenclaw Tower. It was the weekend finally and Beck could use a good break. Normally he wouldn't waste his time wandering around Hogsmeade, but it's not like one could just go milling around anytime they wanted. Hogsmeade was a privilege and Beck liked privileges. He was dressed in a pair of loose skinny jeans paired with his oxford shoes. He had on a white t-shirt with a maroon cardigan over it. Knowing the cold weather has settled around Hogwarts and all over England, Beck decided to shrug on another gray jacket, but left it unzipped. Throwing the hood up over his head, Beck made his way outside. Yep, it was November cold and Beck was glad he brought the extra jacket to keep him warm. Surely the shoppes would be warm as well and couldn't wait to enter the first shoppe he found. Knowing that it would be Honeydukes, Beck tried to think of what his sister wanted him to get her and throughout the rest of his walk to Hogsmeade, Beck thought of the candies he would be buying later.
He was almost there when someone walked past him. A sudden smell ran across his nostrils and Beck stopped walking with his back stiff. His eyes became alert at the smell of werewolf. He stood in the spot he stopped in and began to scan the area, sniffing for the scent. Turning around, he couldn't smell the scent anymore. The person that walked past him must be the source of this smell. Beck knew that he wasn't the only werewolf in the school, but it still always caught him off guard when he smelt other werewolves. It must be his werewolf senses kicking in to tell him to seek out the other werewolf to confront them. Beck liked to think of himself as the lone wolf. He didn't exactly have a pack like the Greybacks did, but Beck didn't mind, he liked to be alone during the time of month. He began to walk again, trying to find the person that walked past him. He only caught a glimpse of what the person was wearing and by what he glimpsed at, he assumed it was a female. Spotting her out to his right and quite far ahead of him, he began to follow her. Coincidentally, they were going to the same place.
Walking into the shoppe, the bell sounded and Beck didn't really try to duck and hide. The girl probably had no idea that she was being followed. He spotted her milling about the store looking bored and occasionally snickering at something. Searching for the face, Beck knew instantly that she was a Greyback. She was definitely a werewolf. The smell was prominent. Walking over to her, he picked up two Licorice Wands. He began to chew on his and when he approached her he held out the wand. "Licorice Wand?" he asked, raising his eyebrows as he paused his chewing of the Licorice Wand.

There she was just walking around the place. It was certain that people were staring at her or just were afraid to look at her, knowing that they would get a girl who would make them wish they never looked at her or said anything to her. It was weird being alone without someone, but she usually had to make the best of it. She had her feelings about her family doing god knows what, but it was just Harper that was bored and had nothing else to do but to come to hogsmeade. There was something that was bothering her though, the fact that she was lonely, and besides that, the fact that she was aware that people were afraid of wolves. That just made her smile half the time, but it bothered her too, which she wouldn’t tell anyone at all. Don’t get her wrong, she loves being a wolf, it’s just the fact that why was her mom such an idiot and bothered with him. She loved her dad more than her mom, so that’s a good thing in the end. Roaming through the store again, she kept on walking around, adding more things to her little bucket she had in her hands. They were the same candy almost, but you can never go wrong without grabbing more, now could you? It would be better that way. Besides, who didn’t love candy? Harper lived for them, yet she’s skinny as a bone, which is a good thing for her dismay. Rather be skinny than chunky in her opinion. Oh how she was confident about herself and… sometimes other people. It was in her nature to act and make her own opinions about everything. No one could change her and no one could tell her otherwise. The end.
There was a new whiff, and like before, Harper knew how to point out bloods. It wasn’t the fact that she could point out other races though. This one was a tad different, but it was still the same. She groaned a little bit, wondering who the hell was near her with a different race or blood. It was something she knew about, but she never really bothered with. Sure, she knew about the humans, the vampires, the wolves, the goblins and anything else you could throw at her. She knew the scents well enough to point them out. Hearing footsteps behind her, Harper just gave a small grin to herself, and turned around. Beck Wulfe. Lovely in her opinion. Harper kept that look on her face and crossed her arms, still having the bucket held in her hands. Beck Wulfe. Is this a surprise that you run into me or was there a reason? She asked. Yeah, she knew her family wasn’t the only type of wolves, there were the Wulfe family. Seems how their name fits in so well. Beck Wulfe was different, somehow and in some way. Harper knew his brother, Mitchell, due to her sister, Kit. For Kit though, she played nice with her ‘man toy’. She still hated him though. So there was somewhat of a hatred of that family from Harper. She could tolerate, but she couldn’t stand the chance in actually liking them so much. She truthfully didn’t see what Kit liked in his brother, it was so… gross. But whatever, Harper can’t change what she sister wants and believes. Harper just had to agree and be there for her sister in the end, rather than be all crazy and other stuff on her. She respected her sister enough to be that way.
She heard his next comment, well, his first actually. Harper eye-balled the wand. He was offering, so why not take it? Harper extended her hand and reached out to grab it. Don’t mind if I do. She said, taking a bite out of it. It was weird in a way that she wasn’t like her sister, she was still cold and stuff, but Harper was the girl who with friends she was let loose and actually be laid-back and actually have fun. She kept her Greyback exterior though. She was curious though, was it totally a surprise that he had bumped into her, or did he have a reason about why he had bumped into her. If this was the company she was going to get, when why not take it to her advantage?

The pause wasn't very long. Before she could even respond, he began to chew on his piece of Licorice to keep his mouth busy. He was almost certain that this was the smell he had smelt out in the frigid air, but even if it wasn't, he always liked a good chat with a random person. It was almost like his hobby to chat up people he's never seen before. Of course, he's seen Harper before, so she wasn't as complete stranger to him. The grin on her face made him copy hers, but his slowly crept up into a smile. He didn't mean for it to be creepy - of course if you took it that way then what did he care? He just liked to smile slowly, feeling every muscle in his face work its way into that lovely smile he liked to show off: white teeth that were smooth to the tongue. They weren't always like that though. Certain times of the month, Beck would become violent and irrational. He had never actually turned into a wolf, but he swore he saw his fingernails grow like a wolfs, hair grow on the tops of his hands and feet, and felt his teeth grow sharp. It was his own dirty secret that he never knew what would happen on those full moon nights. If he wasn't smart, then he wouldn't see the signs pointing to an actually transformation. He knew it was going to happen soon from last months odd happenstance, but Beck still had about two more weeks to not worry about his other life.
"If by reason you mean, seeing your lovely face today? Then yes, Harper Greyback." Beck said with ease as he shoved a hand into backpocket of his jeans. He tried to keep staring at her face instead of elsewhere. He knew that she was a Slytherin and a werewolf too, so it was best not to tick her off. Of course, Beck had nothing else to do...nah, he didn't quite want to risk it yet. Maybe later when she wasn't looking he could check out her ass. Damn cold weather making girls cover up to stay warm. Gone were the day of sundresses and bathing suits. It was such a shame. It was more to take off too and harder access, but when did Beck not like a challenge? Harper finally took the Licorice Wand he offered her and when that hand was free, he pulled his Licorice Wand out of his mouth. "Good answer. I didn't want to have to eat two of them by myself." Beck replied back even if she didn't really want an answer back. He couldn't help himself when he asked her his next question. What was she doing her by herself? Beck liked to be by himself often, so he had an excuse. Didn't she have other friends that should be with her? So what's up with the lone wolf thing today?" he asked, making a pun at the same time. Oh, witty Beck. He just couldn't help himself with that one.

Harper was slightly the one for sweet talk, but she allowed it. She was sort of used to it actually. But none the less, she just let it slide. She knew the rules of guys, seeing as first they sweet talk, then try to figure out how they could scope into looking at other parts of their body. Or it was how they hold back their feelings and the girls have to make the next move. Yeah, she knew a lot about that actually. It was embarrassing for her on that end, but she nonetheless agreed with it. I’m surprised. Normally Beck Wulfe wouldn’t come around a Greyback. But thanks for the compliment. Harper said, a slight smile on her face. Like it was stated before, she hated the Wulfe family, well wait, just Mitchell mostly. Why she would waste her time with him, a Gryffindor? Surely she could understand her siblings, but Kit being with him? It was gross. Harper took another bite of her wand; it was stuff she still had to pack up more off. She loved the candy. She just had a sugar tooth really, and many people saw that whenever she’s around during the weekends or just anything not to do with school, she always has something in her mouth with being candy. Harper followed his eyes, well, watched a bit. She knew he was trying to scope her out, just look at her and everything, but it was sort of a good thing to her advantage that it was winter, so it was a good enough reason for her to layer up clothes to keep her warm. Maybe even some scars for her matter. This was just weird, but oh well. I see… Well, thanks for letting me have one. Knows that there is one less I have to pay for.
Harper gave one of those ‘Oh I see’ looks. Nice pun by the way. Harper said giving a little smirk at it. A lone wolf, how cute. She wasn’t the lonely one, well she might be at this point, but there were many wolves and she knew them too. So, it wasn’t a surprise someone could call her lone. She just wasn’t with her siblings either, oh well with that much. Harper unloosened her hands, but kept her bucket in her left hand. Her right hand went up to her hair, pushing her hair out of her face, oh how she looked like her mother, but had her Dad in her. Well, if you must know, Reagan is somewhere with Deja, Kit is probably with your brother, Ethan doesn’t talk to us, and I don’t talk to Alexis or Everett. And Logan is busy, so I was alone on this trip. She said shrugging, but a small smile when mentioned Logan. Harper shook her head then, getting those thoughts out of her head and was now wondering why he was a lone wolf himself following her into the candy store and just talking to her, which was rare. Surely though, since this was just company, she would be content with this for now. Being as this is what she wanted in the first place, at least she was getting it. It was awesome that she had someone though. This wasn’t the person she had in mind, but at least it was company and she was going to be alright for now. And why aren’t you with your pack? Or your bird friends? Harper said, now questioning him with it. He was a wolf too, so why not ask about his ‘lone wolf’ self?

Her comment about a hime coming around to see a Greyback surprised her. He wasn't sure why it surprised her when his brother did exactly that everyday with one of her sisters, Kit. He wasn't sure why his brother did anyways. Sure they were both werewolves and all, but everybody knew that the Greybacks and Wulfes didnt actually get along very well because one pack wanted to be better than the other. Headmaster Potter was a complete nutter for even letting two different packs into Hogwarts, let alone one. It was rumored that there were vampires in this school as well. Personally, Beck thought it was completely mad. Vampires could live as long as they'd like. They could teach themselves magic. Werewolves on the other hand did die at some point. "Well I figured that if Mitchell could do it, so could I." Beck replied. He was still baffled on the relationship he was having. If it were Beck, he'd just use her for the shagging, not the actual relationship part. What a bored relationships were. Holding hands? Going out to dinner? Dates? Not his thing. He had to give his brother props for keeping even a little relationship with Kit.
As she took the Licorice Wand, he wasn't actually planning on paying for it. He got around the Charm in his fifth year so he could smuggle candy and treats occasionally. He hadn't brought his money anyways, so as long as the owner didn't see them munching on the Wands, Beck would be ok. He didn't bother telling her that he wasn't going to buy it or that he didn't have any money on him. He was just going to enjoy the stores without actually wasting his money on food. His real father had yet to reply to his letter informing him on the death of his mother. He told his real father about this because his family needed money right now. There were many children in his so called family and knew that they wouldn't get buy on some drunken man who wasted his money on useless objects. He hoped that his real father would come to his senses and help him and his twin sister out, because they were secretly in dire help.
He didn't actually intend on her explaining in full detail as to why she was alone. At least she noticed the pun he made. Most of the girls he sometimes talked to never actually got his bad humor. He raised his eyebrows at her story and nodded his head slowly to show his interest. "Wow." was all that Beck had to say on that matter. He wasn't much for some of those Slytherins, but he was glad to know who some of them were. Beck was always terrible with names and faces when people talked about them. He always just pretended to know who they were instead. It was so much easier than having them being described. He found most people didn't know how to describe someone. It was mostly generalizations like, brown hair, blue eyes, tall, short, pudgy, and on the vague details went. It was one of Beck's pet peeves.
"Why am I not with my pack? Well Mitchell is probably snogging your sister, my sister is off with her friends and the rest, who knows." Beck explained to her. To be honest, he hadn't really cared for his family anyways. Of course now that their mother died, he was forced to take action as a father figure with his brother. Mitchell was more of the father figure, Beck was like the assistant. When putting it that way, Beck wanted to grimace at the title. Beck wasn't going to be anybody's assistant. "I like the lone wolf thing." Beck added as he shrugged. It was natural for Beck to wander by himself.
